ZENORO GENERATORS 130 - 300 kWe

Zenoro builds generator sets in the 130 to 300 kWe range, typically serving yachts between 40 and 60 meters. Each set is designed, built, and tested in-house at our facility. They are engineered to carry part of the vessel’s day-to-day electrical load, from HVAC to navigation and communication. In an emergency, the same set stays in reserve until the main plant fails, then takes over automatically to keep steering, bilge pumps, and safety-critical systems running.

John Deere base

The engine base for this range is John Deere. It is a platform Zenoro’s engineers know from the inside: predictable behavior under load, established parts availability, and direct contact with the manufacturer. We have been a John Deere distributor for years, with parts and service support available worldwide. The engines are built for heavy-duty, off-road conditions, delivering consistent power under sustained load.

Custom built

Every generator set in this range is custom-built. Zenoro’s engineering department is involved from the preliminary layout stage until the final design, where we define both design and technical requirements as well as the owner’s preferences. We tailor generators to fit in every machinery room, taking into account footprint, service access, cooling system, and interconnections. With our extensive experience built over the years, we advise customers on both less and more technically sophisticated designs, such as single or double elastic mounting, coupling type, or integrating aftertreatment systems.

Emission compliance

In this power range, IMO Tier III applies as standard. Zenoro delivers the marine generators, including aftertreatment systems from Xeamos, our specialized partner in exhaust aftertreatment. Depending on engine type and flag state requirements, the generator set can be fitted with a DPF, an SCR system, or a combined DPF/SCR solution. These systems are engineered into the set as a single unit and tailored for every specific project. The unique Zenoro enclosure is seamlessly designed and reinforced to support the Xeamos aftertreatment system.

Engine controller

ComAp marine approved digital engine controller panel to control and engine protection. Compatible with any modern generator controller, allows REMOTE SPEED BIAS voltage or current control.

Many engine and generator functions are available for ship monitoring systems.

Alternator - Leroy somer or stamford (optional)

Alternators meet the requirements of Maritime environment. They are type approved and standard equipped with a new digital AVR which allows easy configure and monitor, a regulation accuracy of +/- 0,25% is acquired.

Xeamos after treatment system

Xeamos electrical Zero Soot system, integrated heater, flat or normal version available.

John Deere Marine engine

Modern common rail fuel systems and factory marinated engine. One-side serviceability of fuel, oil filters and air filter.

Quit and low vibrations

Standard: single elastic, optional with rubber design
