ZENORO GENERATORS >300 kWe

Zenoro builds fixed and variable marine generator sets from 300 kWe to 1.5 MW for superyachts of 60 meters and up. Our marine generators are built around limited, proven, high-quality engine platforms with global service coverage. At this scale, Zenoro works closely with system integrators. Together with the owner’s team and naval architect, our engineers analyze the yacht’s operational profile, covering propulsion, hotel load, peak and continuous demand, and redundancy requirements. The result is a demand-and-capability profile for the marine generator set.

In this range, Zenoro generator sets serve two roles. As propulsion generators, variable-speed sets feed diesel-electric or hybrid propulsion systems. As auxiliary generators, fixed-speed sets carry the hotel load, ship’s systems, and general service power.

Custom built

No two engine rooms are identical, and a generator set in this range rarely is either. Every generator set in this range is custom-built. Zenoro’s engineering department joins the project early, working with the naval architect, shipyards, and the owner’s rep team to define the machinery room layout: footprint, service access, cooling method, and interconnections. Coupling type and mounting, single or double resilient, are chosen to match the superyacht’s noise and vibration targets. The result is matched to the requirements of that specific project: classification, flag state regulations, and the owner’s own specifications. Where standard configurations fall short, our custom marine generator set is engineered to fit.

Emission compliance

In this power range, IMO Tier III applies as standard. Zenoro delivers the marine generators, including aftertreatment systems from Xeamos, our specialized partner in exhaust aftertreatment. Depending on engine type and flag state requirements, the generator set can be fitted with a DPF, an SCR system, or a combined DPF/SCR solution. These systems are engineered into the set as a single unit and tailored for every specific project. The unique Zenoro enclosure is seamlessly designed and reinforced to support the Xeamos aftertreatment system.
